Preparing 3D training data is still mostly manual work. AI/ML teams often start with thousands of locally collected FBX, GLTF/GLB, and OBJ assets. Precious time is lost to formatting quirks, inconsistent transformations, one-off render scripts, and preprocessing pipelines that nobody can reproduce months later.
Metrixel™ is a reproducible 3D dataset preparation tool for such tasks: it converts locally available FBX, GLTF/GLB, and OBJ assets into consistent, AI-ready dataset outputs. It can also provide turntable and multi-view renders, PyTorch .pt mesh tensors, extracted textures, USD (USDA) animations, signed-distance-field (SDF) voxel grids, and a JSON manifest that links every output back to its source asset.
Metrixel bridges the data preparation and data cleaning gap. After your assets are available locally, that is when training should begin almost immediately. Metrixel's purpose is not to download datasets and train models; instead, it makes the preparation step between them consistent, repeatable, and fast.
